Sell 5 kV to 69 kV Medium and High Voltage Cable
The heavy reels that need a real buyer, not a scrap price.
Medium and high voltage cable is the highest-value wire on most sites and the least understood by general buyers. A 15 kV concentric-neutral reel left from a utility upgrade can sit in a yard for years because nobody wants to read the tag.
We purchase 5 kV, 8 kV, 15 kV, 25 kV, 35 kV and 69 kV and above cable in XLPE, TRXLPE and EPR constructions, with copper tape shield, wire shield or concentric neutral, copper or aluminum conductor, jacketed or unjacketed. Full reels, partial reels and cut lengths are considered.
What we buy in this category
- 5 kV, 8 kV and 15 kV XLPE and EPR cable
- 25 kV, 35 kV and 69 kV+ cable
- Concentric neutral and tape shield constructions
- Copper and aluminum conductor, 1/0 through 1000 MCM
- Riser, submarine and direct-burial rated cable
- Full and partial reels with factory tags

Reading the reel
Send the factory tag first. Voltage class, insulation, conductor size, shield type and footage are all printed there, and that tag is what separates a serious offer from a guess. Cut lengths are quoted on measured length, not on the original reel capacity.
Questions about 5 kV – 69 kV
Do you buy 15 kV cable with concentric neutral?
Yes. Concentric neutral and tape shield constructions are both purchased, and the shield type must be stated because it affects the offer.
What if the cable has been in service?
In-service cable is evaluated with the history disclosed: years energized, environment, and any test results you have. Photographs of the jacket and terminations help.
Can you take cut lengths rather than full reels?
Yes, at measured length. Tell us the length and how it is stored, since handling affects pickup.
How is 69 kV and above handled?
Higher voltage classes are reviewed individually. Send the tag and footage, and expect questions about storage and jacket condition.
