Sell Bare Copper and Grounding Wire in Tennessee
Bare, insulated and grounding copper in any length.
Bare copper is the simplest thing to sell and the easiest to undervalue. Grounding electrode conductors, bonding jumpers and bare neutral assemblies are ordered in bulk and frequently left over in partial coils at the bottom of a gang box or on a shelf.
We buy bare copper, tinned copper, insulated copper and grounding wire in solid and stranded constructions, 14 AWG through 500 kcmil and larger. Reels, coils, cartons and loose bundles are all acceptable when the size and condition are clear.

Reading the reel
Photograph bare copper with something for scale — a tape measure or a conductor next to it — so the size is unambiguous. Mixed sizes in one coil should be separated or described clearly.
Questions about Bare Copper
Do you buy scrap copper wire?
We buy surplus and unused wire, plus clean used conductor from decommissioned projects. We are not a general scrap yard, so describe the material and condition on the form.
What size bare copper do you purchase?
From 14 AWG grounding wire through 500 kcmil and larger, in solid or stranded constructions.
Is tinned copper purchased?
Yes. Tinned copper is quoted as its own construction, so note it on the form rather than listing it as bare copper.
Can I sell short cut lengths?
Short lengths are fine when they are grouped by size. List each size and approximate total length.
