Sell Tray Cable, TC, PLTC and VFD Cable
Tray-rated and drive cable from industrial projects.
Tray cable is the backbone of plant wiring. It runs in cable trays, handles sunlight and wet locations, and comes in constructions that range from 300-volt power-limited control to 600-volt power and shielded VFD cable for motor drives.
We buy TC, PLTC, VFD and related tray-rated cable from industrial plants, integrators, panel shops and contractors across Tennessee. Shielded, unshielded, armored, multi-pair and multi-conductor constructions are all in scope, in full reels or partial lengths.
What we buy in this category
- TC tray cable, 600 V, multi-conductor
- PLTC power-limited tray cable, 300 V
- VFD cable, shielded, 1 kV and 600 V
- Armored and interlocked tray cable
- Multi-pair and triad instrumentation constructions
- Partial reels with footage tags

Reading the reel
VFD cable is priced differently from ordinary tray cable because of the shield and the drive-rated insulation. If the reel tag says VFD, drive or shielded, say so on the form rather than listing it as generic TC.
Questions about Tray & VFD Cable
What is the difference between TC and PLTC?
TC is 600-volt tray cable for power and control circuits. PLTC is 300-volt power-limited tray cable for Class 2 and 3 circuits. Both are purchased, but they are not interchangeable.
Do you buy shielded VFD cable?
Yes, including foil/braid shielded constructions with drain wires. Note the shield type and voltage on the form.
Can you buy cable with damaged outer jacket?
Short jacket damage at the end of a reel is usually workable if enough length remains. Photograph the damage so we can judge it rather than rejecting the reel outright.
Are multi-pair instrumentation cables included?
Yes. Multi-pair and triad constructions used for instrumentation are purchased under the control and instrumentation category, and tray-rated versions fit here too.
