Buyer questions about wire types
How do I identify wire without a reel tag?
Read the print on the jacket. It carries the size, insulation type and voltage rating, for example 12 AWG THHN or 4/0 XHHW-2. A photo of that print, taken close up in good light, is enough to identify most cable.
What photos should I send with a quote request?
Three shots do the job: the reel tag, the jacket print, and a wide shot showing how many reels there are and how they are stored. Add a photo of any damage you want us to know about.
Is it worth selling small quantities?
Yes. A single partial reel can be quoted. Small lots from several jobs are easier to handle when they are grouped by type and size on one form.
