Reading the reel
Welding cable is graded on strand count and jacket condition. If the jacket is checked or stiff from heat, say so — it still may have value, but the quote needs to reflect reality.

Do you buy used welding cable?
Yes, when the jacket is intact and the conductor is not corroded. Describe the condition and send a photo of the jacket and the cut end.
What SOOW sizes do you purchase?
18 AWG through 2 AWG in two- through five-conductor constructions, plus heavier portable power cable by description.
Is stiff or sun-damaged cord purchased?
It is evaluated case by case. Disclose the condition on the form rather than letting us discover it at pickup.
Can you take a mixed lot of cord and welding lead?
Yes. List the types and lengths separately so each is priced on its own merits.
